I tend to cut my hair on a whim. Dramatically cut my hair on a whim.
Yesterday, I called and made an appointment on the way to church and right after church was over, I headed over and chopped about 12 inches off my hair.
GULP.

Just a tad shorter in the back, wouldn't you say? Sorry for the self portrait. I'll try to get a better pic soon!
I love it!!Now I just need to decide on a color. Can't decide if I should go lighter or darker. What do you think?

Love the cut! I did the same thing with mine a few weeks ago. It’s great to have it long just to pull it back, but I also like feeling like my hair actually has a style to it. As for color, that’s a tough one since we’re still in summer but heading into the fall. Maybe darker with some light highlights?

So pretty! But very brave! I’ve been growing mine…I came into the gym locker room behind a lady one day with beautiful long blonde hair, and then she turned around….somewhere around “Great Grandma” you have to let it go, and this particular lady had not. So I realized that now that I’m on the downhill slope to 40, it’s now or never!!! Or til my then teenager says “Ma, cut the hair!”

I love it! Can’t wait to see it in person. I’d be curious to see it a shade darker, but then with your coloring and the colors you like to wear, maybe some highlights is all you need. FUN!
Aaagggghhhh, it’s adorable!!! I so wish my hair was straight so I could do that kind of bob. I think I’ve seen lighter but not darker so maybe darker for going into the fall. Maybe you should just do highlights and then darker later on. Whatever you decide I am sure it is going to look even more fabulous than it does! You are such a brave woman!!
