This morning I indulged in a mani & pedi.
Three words: Hot. Stone. Massage. Heaven.
Ahhhh…. much needed after a crazy, blizzard-y weekend.
Of course I ruined my pedicure when I had to put on shoes to get to Gracie's doctor appointment on time.
Gracie was at the doctor because she has been up every single night, unable to sleep because she's coughing so hard.
Turns out she just has a monster cold….
And Colin has it.
And I have it.
So, its officially Christmas – we're all sick!
Speaking of Christmas, can we petition Starbucks to keep the Peppermint Mocha around all year?
I'm already dreading that day after New Years when I walk into Starbucks… practically tasting that delicious chocolatey, minty yumminess… and see that its off the menu.
SOB!
ohmyword, my head hurts.
I need a nap.
Or a Peppermint Mocha.
Neither is very likely, though.

I can always tell when the holiday’s are close…Boo gets sick or hurt. That is the true holiday for us!
Hope you all feel better!!
I think I’ve had a Peppermint Mocha 5 out of 7 days every week this month lol!
glad its not just me with this disease/obsession!!!
Ummm… good news: of the three coffee shops I’ve worked at in my lifetime, all three of them stocked peppermint (ok, so at one it was creme de menthe) – flavored syrup year round. Even if it’s not on the menu, they can still make it. It’s just espresso, milk, mint syrup, and chocolate. Try asking at Starbuck’s… I’ll bet they can do it all year round.
Snort. I like your stream of consciousness blog posting. Girl, that’s what the flip flops are for. I know, I know, that pesky snow. WHATever.
I am WAITING on pins and needles b/c we always get sick at Christmas. I just know it’s coming. But wait, no. we don’t leave for Virginia until the 30th. THAT’s when we will get sick. @@
I’m pretty sure Starbuck’s has peppermint all year…at least I think they do here in Texas. I’m almost positive earlier this year I was there and asked if I could get peppermint in mine and she said yes. They just don’t advertise it until Christmas time…just ask, I bet your is the same way! Good luck!!
Feel better soon! I’m jealous about your mani/pedi. Where did you go for the hot stone massage?
It was Spring Nails, on route 30 in Paoli.
$30 for mani and pedi and the pedi included a hot stone foot massage. AND the lady gave me a free shoulder massage while my nails were under the dryer.
My new favorite place!!!
Oh my goodness, I need to head over to Paoli!!!
Feel better soon.
