We lost the new house. They accepted another offer that we cannot match.
Now we have to make some decisions. Whether we should leave our house on the market or not. Or if we should just throw in the towel and give up.
We're sad, but okay. Its nice to know, at least, instead of all this uncertainty. Its very disappointing – we really loved this new house. But we enjoy where we live now and our house is great, so its not the end of the world.
That's it. Not much more to say right now. Just thought I'd share.

i’m sorry. i know trading uncertainty for dissappointment is really not a fun trade to go through. are you totally done with your house? if you are, keep it on the market. if not, then take it off the market and enjoy your summer. i’m so sorry…
this happened to us too when we were househunting, and I’m still not over it. I’m so sorry. I know that you were already picturing your stuff and your life inside that house.
But, like they say, there will be others.
I am sorry. But maybe this will show you a new direction to take.

I love our home but have been getting the moving bug, lately. I think we’re going to sit tight for now.

We had this happen and I cried and cried. Ended up in a way better house and area we want to stay here forever…God brought us where He wanted us.
I’m so sorry. I know it’s hard to let go of what you wanted. Maybe, in time, this will come to be a good thing. Good luck deciding whether to keep it on the market or not.

It sucks in this market, too. We’re sitting on it for 6 more months, but I suspect we’ll have some of the same hassles.
