i give up.

Now Ellie's sick. And Colin.

The germs have officially won.

Forget about cleaning. We're just going to move. Preferably somewhere warm with palm trees.
That way when my sick kids are taking naps (snicker, like that ever happens) I can sit outside and pretend I'm on vacation.
That way I won't be tempted to run away to Aruba. BY MYSELF. (Well, maybe I'll let Husband come. This has been no picnic for him either!)

We're going to the pediatrician. I've had enough.

UPDATE: Ellie has some sort of virus that is going around the schools that results in a high fever that lasts for… wait for it… FIVE DAYS!!! (Which Colin probably has, in addition to a monster cold.) While I am crazy-thankful that they are not throwing up anymore, I am going to be in DIRE need of a girls' night out featuring GIANT margaritas when this is over.

    Melissa,
Open the windows and let the fresh air in.
I know how you feel. I went through this from Feb to April one year. Just kept passing it around. The kids are in it at school too. The dr told me “don’t worry, they have to go through this sooner or later until they build up their immunity”. Not what I was hoping to hear but it did make me feel better in that I wasn’t just a bad mother. Hang in there kiddo.

We were sick for 2 solid months, I went out and bought 3 air purifiers, it has helped! Hope you are all feeling better soon :)
PS. They have the light in them that is supposed to kill viruses, bacteria, and germs.

Oh you poor things- we just finished this and it is NASTY! Squeak got it last Thurs and this is the first day he has been himself. :( But this too shall pass. On the upside my girlfriend just had it with her two girl for the entire week that her husband was IN GERMANY (Her 11 month old tossed her cookies for eight days)! So life is good and could be worse. :)

Praying for you. I don’t have any good advice for you but I know what it’s like to have sickness in your house for months on end. AEK went to school a total of 4 whole days in January. I’m sure that Spring can not come soon enough in your house.
