Husband comes home from Europe today! And he's bringing the camera!
You don't know how much you miss something until its gone!
(Of course I'm talking about my husband and not the camera! Why would you think otherwise?)

No fabulously frugal friday this week, folks.
Yesterday got a little crazy when I discovered that Ellie's Thanksgiving play required her to have a costume! Whoops! Must have missed that note home. Good thing I overheard some other moms talking!
Anyway, I spent all last night throwing together an Indian costume made out of a brown pillowcase, which I will have to take a picture of. I am pretty darn proud of myself. Thank goodness she didn't want to be a pilgrim, that's all I can say.
By the way, do not say "Indian" in front of today's elementary school student. You will promptly be reminded that they are "Native Americans, Mom!" Well, ex-cuse me!
And, having learned my lesson at the Halloween parade, we will be leaving for the play approximately one hour before it starts. I prefer to park in the same zip code as the elementary school.

Its snowing!! Now our kids are convinced that its Christmas! In a way it is, since now I can no longer see the eleventy jillion leaves covering our yard. Out of sight, out of mind

Who saw Twilight? Was it good? I can't wait!! Unfortunately the only movie we will be going to see this weekend will be Bolt or possibly Madagascar 2 since I'm thinking the girls might not be ready for vampires yet!

First all those leaves and now snow?! Mother Nature must be confused.
You have something waiting for you on my blog!
Hey — mine comes home today too! He’s been gone since Nov. 4 and is slated to be gone for 3 weeks in December again. It’s been a long haul. I did not clean the house for him today, sigh.
oh yeah, don’t try to sing Ten Little Indians to a room full of preschoolers. You’ll totally get yelled at by the more responsible adults in the room.
Trust me on this one…
madagascar 2 was a riot. i love julian.
I’m going to see Twilight tonight with my youth group kiddos. Maybe we can sneak out and see it next week too?
Yes, Sam came home in a paper NATIVE AMERICAN hat today:)
My 12 year old and I are going to see Twilight on Monday. One of the perks of homeschooling is going out during school hours.
We saw Madagascar last week. It was very cute.
I got to move it, move it
I got to move it, move it
I got to move it!!
Glad to hear that your camera, and hubby, are coming home. Woohoo. I don’t know how single moms do it all the time. I saw Twilight last night, but honestly I wasn’t very impressed. It did stick to the movie, but I felt that it missed a lot that I would have liked to see. It also had some awkward times where it just didn’t seem to flow smoothly. It was fun actually seeing what I’ve been visualizing after reading all the books. Although I must say that I preferred some of my visualizations more!!
haha, parking in the same zip code….omg, that is exactly how i feel. glad you got the costume together in time!!
we’ve gotta get a beast costume together for january, but at least i have notice…rofl
