yup. i still got it.

Yesterday I was out BY MYSELF and Husband’s little sporty Jetta needed gas. Its so fun to drive a teeny-tiny car after the mommy-van. I feel like a race car driver.
Anyway, I was filling up with gas and this guy pulls up next to me. In some nice BMW-type car. He’s pretty young, dressed in a shirt and tie. He starts the flirting. I admit – I’m flattered. ESPECIALLY after being large and pregnant for so long or else dragging 3 kids everywhere (now, I’m not a man, but I’d guess that is a turn-off?). But, I’m really not in the mood. I was tired and grumpy. He’s giving it a shot though, attempting to be all suave and cool.
I get in my car to drive away. He gets into his. As he pulls out of the gas station – still giving me the “Oh, I’m so suave it hurts” look – I noticed that his gas tank was open and he had never screwed the gas cap back on. It was dangling against the side of the car.
I BURST out laughing. He noticed and sheepishly pulled over to fix his car as I drove past, still laughing.

I needed that.
