Ellie has a friend from school over for a playdate this afternoon.
They were coloring at the kitchen table…
Ellie: Mom, can [girl] come back for another playdate again someday?
[girl]: Actually, I don’t want to come back to your house.
Can you just picture Ellie’s face? I could have died.
Yeah, well, actually that’s fine with me, since I don’t want you playing with my daughter if that’s how you’re going to treat her. Grrrr……

Ouch…sometimes I can’t believe what some of my kids say that is just downright mean. Give me active, give me silly, but please don’t be mean!! I’m so sorry that you had to witness your daughter being treated so meanly. Give her a hug for me!

Just wait until high school, I can’t believe how mean they can be, my daughter has been in tears more than once, and it makes a mother’s blood boil.
So far every girl who has pulled this crap has a terrible home life, ugh, just hang on for the ride you will get through it
