oh my word

I have 3 thousand things to do today.
My sister is arriving tonight for a long weekend and my house is a disaster. (Seriously – I’m not just exaggerating to get sympathy. Yuck-a-rooney) Because of course this week the girls were sick. And of course I suddenly decide to totally revamp my store* and make approximately 40 new items, along with a complete storefront redesign (which I am really excited about. To be unveiled next week! Hee hee!). Because I don’t have anything else to do.
So today I will be running lots of errands, cleaning like crazy, doing loads of laundry and trying to avoid my sewing machine, since all I want to do is sit and play with this new purse design that is in my head. Because I think it will be super cute and fun. And fit perfectly in the shop. Do you think that polka dot ribbon would look better? Or stripes?
No! Concentrate! To-do list!
I am totally going to the grocery store two towns over, that one that has a child-drop-off room so I can grocery stop in peace. ‘Cause that is certainly worth a short 15-minute drive. Am I right?

*Seriously – don’t buy anything this week. First, I don’t have time. But second, there will be LOADS of new cute things coming, so wait!
